Communications
The Trustees of Westhills Church are seeking a person or persons with an interest in developing communications across Westhills church and across its parish. By communications we mean use of and development of the church website, engaging through email, establishing and developing social media and newsletter in digital and printed format.
Familiarity with the above forms of communication is clearly an advantage but training and introduction in the use of the church’s WordPress website can be given. All communications will be required to follow policy and be under the guidance of Trustees.
Ideally, we would seek to recruit a new Trustee with specific oversight of communications however, this may not be essential to good and effective communications. The pathway to becoming a Trustee entails Ordination to the Eldership.
This role may be suited to a person with an active Christian faith, who is familiar with church life and work and has a desire to see the church flourish in a digital age. The role is voluntary and unpaid.
